The quad suvived. Still a lot of ice on the wires. Temperature about 29F here.

Will the quad survive? Temperature 31F at 2:30pm. More ice on the wires… Some power outages in the area.

More and more ice is building up on the wires….I hope the quad makes it through the day. SWR on all bands >3:1. 10M element in resonance at 27Mhz… I guess I have to do CB radio now :-)

It is also possible to connect to other Echolink links or repeaters trough DTMF. To connect just enter the node number. To search for worldwide Echolink stations visit http://www.echolink.org/links.jsp

I just deceided to give my website a new look. On this website I will inform about my Ham Radio activities as W8DA and my programming and electronic projects.

I visited N8CC’s super station for the CQ WW DX Contest last weekend. We had a lot of fun. I espcially enjoyed the fried fish !!

I did some programming for Android cell phones in the last couple of week. I programmed a Morse trainer with a couple different modes and also a lot of settings. Just 2 weeks ago I also finished a DX Cluster app. I have more information on www.wolphi.com
